How to convert temperatures
Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin are three widely used temperature scales. Unlike length or weight, they don't differ by a simple factor: each scale has its own zero point, so converting involves both multiplication and addition.
The formulas are: °F = °C × 9/5 + 32, K = °C + 273.15 and °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9. Internally we convert any value to Celsius first and then to the target scale, ensuring consistent results across all three scales.
