How the resume builder works
This resume builder lets you create a professional CV right in your browser, with nothing to install. You fill in each section — personal details, summary, experience, education and skills — and see the result in real time using ready-made templates. Everything runs on your own device: no information is sent to any server.
If you already have a LinkedIn profile, you can export your profile PDF and import it here to pre-fill the resume automatically. Resumes generated here can also be re-imported later to keep editing. When you're done, export the result as a PDF ready to send to recruiters.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add a photo to my resume?
Yes. On the first step you can upload a photo that appears in the templates. The photo is optional and stays only in your browser.
How do I import my LinkedIn profile?
On LinkedIn, open your profile, click 'More' then 'Save to PDF'. Then use the 'Import PDF' button here and select that file to pre-fill the fields.
Why do I get an error when importing a PDF?
We can only read PDFs generated by SmartNTools or exported from LinkedIn. Other formats (third-party resumes, scanned documents, etc.) are not recognized and trigger a warning.
Is my data saved?
Your data is saved automatically in your browser (localStorage), so you can close and come back later. Nothing is sent over the internet.
