How the text editor works
This editor runs entirely in your browser: the text you type is never sent to any server. Use the toolbar to apply bold, italic, underline, headings, lists and alignment, just like in a regular word processor.
When you're done, export the document in whichever format you prefer. HTML and TXT produce simple files for the web or plain text; DOC produces a file compatible with Microsoft Word; and PDF opens the browser's print dialog, where you can choose "Save as PDF".
Frequently asked questions
Is the text I write sent to any server?
No. All editing happens locally in your browser; nothing is transmitted or stored online.
How do I export the document as PDF?
Click "Export PDF". This opens the browser's print dialog, where you select "Save as PDF" instead of a printer.
Does the DOC file open normally in Word?
Yes. The generated file uses a compatible HTML format recognized by Microsoft Word and other editors, such as LibreOffice and Google Docs.
Does my text stay saved if I reload the page?
No. The content only exists in the current page's memory; export the document before closing or refreshing the tab to avoid losing what you wrote.
